Since its creation, Breguet has been regarded as one of the world’s leading watchmakers of the highest quality, and its founder, Abraham-Louis Breguet, as the leading watchmaker of his time. Since its foundation, Breguet has kept a list of the watchmaker, price, date of sale and purchaser of the watches it has sold. This list includes some very famous names, such as Marie-Antoinette, Napoleon Bonaparte, Alexander I, Victoria and Winston Churchill. Today, Breguet is part of the Swatch Group. The most popular Breguet watches are the Tradition and Classique series.
