Zenith
In 1865, Georges Favre-Jacot founded Zenith in Le Loclee, Switzerland. Zenith holds numerous watchmaking records and has won no fewer than 1400 first prizes in the once popular inter-manufacturer chronometer competitions. Between 1910 and 1990, Zenith received orders for its watches from the armies of numerous countries. In 1999, Zenith was acquired by LVMH. Zenith’s most famous movements are the El Primero and the Elite.
